Here's how:
Most people are sending the same email over and over and over again.

There's a few issues with this approach:

1. Message fatigue
The email providers notice you're sending the same email and when you get flagged as Spam it's easy to push that message into the junk folder. Hyper personalizing emails all but eliminates ‘message fatigue’.

2. Your prospect "knows"
Prospects can smell you're just blindly emailing many people and subconsciously they don't respect it. They know it's lazy. So unless they have an immediate need, it's a hard pass the sniff test. Hyper personalizing emails helps pass the sniff test.

3. There's no personalization
The gurus can claim personalization doesn't matter and it's all "the offer", but it's the biggest lie that "volume based" cold emailers want to push. Volume is for large TAMs, lower ticket. While you shouldn't personalize to every lead it should definitely be used on your A-list leads and best opps.

4. The writing style ie. the copywriting framework is one-size-fits-all
Using an email template assumes every reader is the exact same person. This is dumb, because...you might like books about mysteries and someone else likes love stories. Same thing with emails. Use email frameworks that MATCH with that particular persons profile.

5. The "angle" was determined based on your own interests
When most people write an email they are thinking selfishly. So they think of an angle to reach out to the market. But what you should be doing is finding angles that will resonate with the prospect. Then weave in the offer. The email sounds much different

6. Negative reply rates
Sending volume based emails to your list results in a high negative reply rate. Hyper-personalized with the ideas above reduce your negative reply rate and preserve your list longer.

By incorporating corrections to these problems into our cold emails we're seeing insane numbers.
