#24 "I'm giving up on you"

I can't please you anymore, so...

“There’s nothing more sales can’t cure”

Today, I want to talk about the most underrated topic:

Giving up.

You see, most people give up on the things they like the most.

They give up on the person they like.

They give up on their dreams.

And, most importantly...

They give up on making money.

Here's what I mean...

When I'm talking about giving up on money, I mean two things:

Number 1...

They give up on outbound.

They just launch a cold email campaign.

And expect it to flood their business with clients in the next week or even the next day.

And when it doesn't happen...

They give up.

They say, "I tried cold emailing, and it didn't work for me."

Ok, hotshot. Let me ask you a question here.

"Are you a genius or a pro at cold emailing?"

"Have you tried following up with the prospects on your cold email list via phone or another social channel?"

"Have you tried finding out why your outbound didn't work? Maybe it was your deliverability, the messaging, or the email list itself."

If your answer to my questions is "NO," then you have given up, my friend.

Or maybe...

Someone told you that they are not interested and they replied with something harsh.

And you decided that it's not worth your time.

But man, why are you here?

To sell, right?

To make money, right?

You can’t let something this small stop you from winning big, right?

If Thomas Edison had given up, then we would never have had the concept of the bulb.

He failed 2,774 times according to his records before reaching a working design of an electric light bulb.

Look, my friend, it doesn't matter how hard it is or what others are saying.

You have to keep testing...

🧗‍♂️ New angles.

👨‍🦲 New audiences.

📚 New messaging.

Make sure you're landing in the primary inbox.

You have to keep doing it until you nail it down.

And it doesn't just apply to outbound but to life as well.

No matter what you're doing, whether it's outbound to win clients or whatever...

You need to keep doing it.

You need to follow up with people.

Ignore those who say, "I'm not interested."

Focus on people who opened your email but didn't respond.

Call them and connect with them on LinkedIn.

And keep track of them.

I know it's hard.

But that's the price you have to pay to win clients.

And if you don't know what to do, then get some coaching from top guys in the industry.

Now, let's talk about the number 2 thing, which is also a very crucial part of client generation.

Look, I am going to say this and you might think I'm a crazy guy.

Because I always talk about outbound, outbound, outbound.

But, right here and right now...

I'm going to talk about something different.

It's paid ads.

Look, outbound is good.

But relying totally on it is dangerous for your business.

Here's what's good about outbound:

You get interested prospects who want to learn more about your offers and the services you provide.

And it helps you book a sh*t load of meetings even with a low count of leads like 300 or something.

Here's a real-life example:

As you can see, I have only 455 people enrolled in a sequence inside Uptics.

We generated these leads with our free lead magnet and booked around 45-50 sales meetings in just a single month.

Remember, unlike outbound, you don't need thousands or even tens of thousands of contacts to get clients.

You can do it with a low number of leads in your list.

All you need to do is...

Set aside $2k-$4k for your marketing budget every month and know how to do things properly to convert those leads into meetings.

That's it.

Your spending will be paid off automatically.

If you want to know how I run paid ads to attract interested leads and book 45-50 meetings from them every single month then...

I have explained my whole funnel steps in my recent YouTube video which you can watch here and get some idea.

[Just a quick reminder, I spend around $5k on ads every month and get like 5-7X ROI, so I know it works.]

That's it for today.
